Why buy from us?
Our buildings are constructed to meet local building codes. We can provide your building inspector an engineer's stamped drawing for your roof truss if requested.
We use engineered roof trusses in our buildings. Our company has over 30 years combined experience in the roof truss industry.
True roof trusses are designed and engineered for 24" on center spacing. This spacing allows you easy access for our built in attic storage.
The bottom chord or ceiling joist in a roof truss has two purposes:
1. It gives extra strength for the building - your walls stay straight.
2. It also created a larger overhead storage area.
Our engineered roof trusses are also available in 16" on center spacing and many different pitches and configurations.
A true conventional rafter system should include a ridge beam and not just plywood gussets.
Improper roof construction combined with walls that only have a single top plate will eventually lead to bowed walls and a sagging roof.
Our walls are constructed with a double top plate (not just a single top plate) and are framed with 2x4's 16" on center.

Although we can deliver fully constructed buildings, here at ShedWorks we specialize in constructing and installing customized buildings requiring on site assembly including:
- Garages
- Barns
- Large Sheds
- And any size building that cannot be delivered fully assembled because of site difficulties.
